Randy Shoup
VP Engineering
STITCH FIX
Randy Shoup has been building and operating service-oriented distributed systems for more than 20 years. He has worked as a senior technology leader at eBay and Google, as well as at a few smaller startups.
He is currently VP Engineering at Stitch Fix in San Francisco, using technology and machine learning to find clothes that people will enjoy.
He is particularly passionate about the nexus of culture, technology, and organization.
Christopher Burnett
Lead Engineer - Core Libraries
LYFT
Christopher Burnett is Lead Engineer on the Client/Server Networking team at Lyft, where he designs software for distributed systems. The Networking team is responsible for bringing Go and gRPC into Lyft's polyglot ecosystem by providing tooling and instrumentation for service engineers across multiple languages.
Prior to Lyft he worked on resumable protocols that improved photo transfers for low-quality networks around the world for both Twitter and VSCO.
Dejan Bosanac
Senior Software Engineer

Dejan Bosanac is an Engineer at Red Hat with the deep expertise in messaging and integration technologies. He's been an active member of open source communities for many years and a contributor to various projects.
His latest interests revolve around providing scalable connectivity and messaging solutions for IoT applications.
Jakub Nabrdalik

Jakub Nabrdalik is a Team Leader and Software Developer at Allegro with 15 years of professional experience in IT, as an architect, programmer, designer, analyst, project leader, project manager, and even as a development department manager.

Amir Chaudhry
Former Member of Technical Staff

Amir Chaudhry hopes to make unikernels accessible to developers everywhere, and is the Community Manager for MirageOS. Most of his time is spent on open source efforts and he’s a big fan of automation to maximise developer impact.
In previous lives he was a Member of Technical Staff at Docker, Programme Manager at OCaml Labs, led operations at a medical device start-up, created a seed investing programme, and was a board observer at another startup. Amir also has a diverse academic background with an MSci in Physics and a PhD in Neuroscience. When not working on unikernels, Amir is probably looking at the sky and wondering when he can next go skydiving.
Tim Berglund

Tim is a teacher, author, and technology leader with Confluent, where he serves as the Senior Director of Developer Experience. He can frequently be found at speaking at conferences in the United States and all over the world.
He is the co-presenter of various O’Reilly training videos on topics ranging from Git to Distributed Systems, and is the author of Gradle Beyond the Basics.
He tweets as @tlberglund, blogs very occasionally at http://timberglund.com, and lives in Littleton, CO, USA with the wife of his youth and their youngest child, the other two having mostly grown up.
Sveta Smirnova

Sveta Smirnova works as MySQL Support engineer since year 2006, she is also author of book "MySQL Troubleshooting" (http://shop.oreilly.com/product/0636920021964.do) and author of MySQL Labs project "JSON UDFs for MySQL".
After starting her career as a web developer, she moved to a role in Bugs Analysis MySQL Support Group first in MySQL AB, then Sun, later Oracle. In March 2015 Sveta joined the Support Team in Percona. She works on tricky support issues, MySQL software bugs and escalations on a daily basis.
She is active participant in the open source community. Her main interests in recent years is solving DBA problems, finding ways to semi-automate this process and effective backup techniques.
